Longtime collaborators Carhartt WIP and mastermind JAPAN, the label of Japanese designer Masaaki Homma, have once again come together for a new capsule collection.
This new capsule does not differ much from the previous ones, as far as the aesthetics are concerned. Indeed, the two partners have once again focused on mastermind JAPAN‘s skull cult and a signature dark palette of the Japanese label.
The eight-piece capsule, revisiting Carhartt WIP‘s iconic styles with mastermind JAPAN’s all-black palette and the brand’s signature skull motif – silver accents add relief and contrast. The skull pattern appears on all pieces, either as a reflective print on the MMJ Coach jacket or as silver embroidery on items like the Double Knee jogging pants. Other items in the collection include T-shirts, overalls, a windbreaker, a hoodie and a fleece pouch.
