Not a month goes by without PALACE unveiling a collaborative collection with a premium brand. At the London-based streetwear brand, capsules and collaborations follow one another at a dizzying pace and the latest is with Italian sportswear pioneer C.P. Company.
Guided by the aesthetic values of both brands – C.P. Company’s high-end sportswear heritage and dyeing expertise, and PALACE’s irreverent, cheeky attitude – the London-based brand delved into C.P. Company’s vast archives to revisit some of the brand’s iconic pieces like the duffle coat and lambswool sweater, adding them alongside its own staples, such as the bomber jacket and sweatpants.
For example, PALACE reinterprets the C.P. Company duffle coat with an original striped pattern inspired by old army blankets, while the coat’s soft wool fabric has been treated with a coating that makes it lean into a performance. Other outerwear and accessories were also revisited with technical fabrics, such as Nylon B, Flatt Nylon and Microreps Diamond Peach, while there’s also C.P. Company’s iconic Ba-Tic hooded canvas combat jacket available here in purple and faded black. Hiking boots, Fair Isle sweaters, goggle hoodies, logo t-shirts and aviator jackets round out the collection.
Commenting on the collaboration, Lorenzo Osti, current president of C.P. Company, says, “I’m in love with Palace since I discovered the brand years ago: I love their attitude, irreverent but humble, ironic but with a lot to say. And when I met Gareth and Lev, I just had the confirmation that great brands come from great people. Working with them has been easy and fun, but more than everything, a great honor.”
