Successful collaborations don’t come to a standstill, especially the one between BOSS and PHIPPS whose first collection was a success. For the Fall/Winter 2022 season, the two partners have come together for a new collab focused on environmental responsibility.
Like the first collection released last May, this new capsule is made entirely of clothing from BOSS surplus stocks, as well as more responsible materials.
The collection includes limited edition “Recrafted” models, which give a second life to selected pieces. For example, a velvet jacket and evening pants are redesigned by skilled tailors at HUGO BOSS headquarters in Metzingen, Germany, to create a suit consisting of a hybrid jacket and shorts.
Other designs bearing the “Reused” label are made from surplus materials. These include an oversized graphic sweater and matching knit cap, as well as a quilted jacket with a graphic design that nods to mountain tops.
Finally, “Responsible” pieces round out the BOSS x PHIPPS collection, with organic cotton T-shirts and scarves, high-top sneakers developed from pineapple leaf fibers, and a colorful backpack made from certified recycled polyester.
