It’s an unexpected collaboration this summer to say the least! Beats, the Apple subsidiary, has partnered with Kim Kardashian to release three new colors of Beats Fit Pro.
The Beats Fit Pro headphones, new fashion accessory of Kim Kardashian? We really want to believe it since the American superstar has personally committed to this project that is close to her heart. “I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement. This collaboration is special because it allows you to blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that showcase individuality,” explained the businesswoman, host and heroine of the reality show The Incredible Kardashian Family.
“This concept was born from my love for neutral color palettes, but I also wanted to show that tech is as much a part of style as clothes. I believe that the things we wear every day should feel effortless, including headphones,” she also told Vogue.
The “Beats x Kim” collection revisits the Beats Fit Pro in three skin-colored, Moon (light), Dune (medium) and Earth (dark), which are, for Kim Kardashian, trendy neutrals and evoke the “characteristic minimalist aesthetic” of the star.
On the technical side, it is exactly the same model currently on the market, taking up many technical features, such as the H1 chip, the ANC (Active Noise Reduction), the Transparency mode, the Spatial Audio, the dynamic tracking of head movements, the possibility of sending a voice request to Siri, the IPX4 certification, the compatibility with the App Localiser, the in-ear detection, as well as the Adaptive EQ to adapt the sound according to the anatomy and the placement of the earphones. Regarding the autonomy, Beats mentions 6 hours with ANC or 7 hours with Adaptive EQ (pushed to 27/30 hours via the charging case, equipped with a USB-C port).
The “Beats x Kim” collection will be available on Apple.com/kim in the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Germany and Japan for $199.99 on Tuesday, August 16. Beginning August 17, the collaboration will be available in limited quantities at select Apple Retail Stores and exclusively through authorized resellers.
