Regular collaborators for many years, atmos and New Balance have come together time and time again around iconic silhouettes from the Boston-based outfitter, the latest of which is this atmos x New Balance 2002R “Oasis”.

Based on New Balance’s 2002R model – itself inspired by the popular MR2002, the atmos x New Balance 2002R “Oasis” expresses the shadows and disparity of the desert through a variety of different materials, such as suede, nubuck and mesh, and various shades of grey, brown and beige that represent the muted tones of the desert.

The N logos on the lateral sides opt for a teal blue that embodies the concept of an oasis and nods to the refreshing reservoirs found in the desert. This blue is also found on the insoles, the extra pair of laces that come with the pack, and the N-ERGY gel in the heel. Touches of high-visibility reflective material and classic dark gum outsoles finalize the look.

Taking full advantage of the 2002R design, this pair of shoes is filled with atmos’ unique commitment to staging itself in shoes.
