Arnold & Son unveiled, at the last Watches and Wonders 2023, its exquisite Arnold & Son Globetrotter Platinum, a limited edition timepiece that celebrates the spirit of 18th-century explorers. This masterpiece fuses history and modernity with its meticulous design and precious materials, making it a remarkable piece of horological art.

A nod to the explorers of the past

The Globetrotter Platinum is a tribute to 18th-century explorers who voyaged across the globe with the aid of John Arnold’s chronometers. Clad in 950 platinum, the timepiece evokes the color gray and pays homage to the courageous adventurers who expanded our understanding of the world.

The intricate design of the Globetrotter Platinum

At the heart of the Globetrotter Platinum is a central globe portraying the northern hemisphere. This intricate design is supported by an 18-carat gold bridge, polished and satin-finished to perfection. The taut-lined arc, a visual signature of the Globetrotter, houses a functional jewel at its center, marking the axis of universal time.

For the first time, Arnold & Son crafts the 45mm diameter case of the Globetrotter in 950 platinum, the most prestigious metal used in watchmaking.
