AMIRI confirms its expansion with the opening of a new flagship store in Chicago

AMIRI has just opened the doors to its stunning Chicago flagship store in the prestigious Gold Coast District. The AMIRI Chicago flagship sets a new benchmark in retail design, offering customers an immersive shopping experience that combines the brand’s signature style with the city’s artistic heritage.

The AMIRI Chicago flagship store is a testament to the brand’s continued expansion, representing its sixth location in the United States and ninth internationally. Situated on East Walton Street, the spacious store covers an impressive 7,500 square feet, with 4,000 square feet dedicated to the sales floor area.

For this flagship project, Mike Amiri collaborated with the renowned Paris-based design studio NOCOD and the distinguished US architectural firm Two One Two Design. The partnership has resulted in a store design that masterfully interprets the brand’s essence while incorporating familiar elements from AMIRI’s other retail locations.

A harmonious blend of materials, such as natural oak, precious marble, and stainless steel, sets the stage for custom furniture and a captivating interplay of textures and tones. This unique environment exudes comfort and craftsmanship, qualities that are central to the AMIRI brand.

Art plays a significant role in the store’s aesthetic, with site-specific installations reflecting the brand’s artistic sensibilities. Notably, a piece from American artist Jason Revok’s Spirograph series is displayed alongside works from Chicago-based gallery 1871. Local artist duo Alridge’s creations, Joint Spirit II and Joint Spirit III, further underscore the store’s connection to Chicago’s vibrant art scene.

The AMIRI Chicago flagship store offers an extensive range of products, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, kidswear, footwear, and accessories. To celebrate the store’s opening and pay homage to the city’s iconic sports team, AMIRI has also designed an exclusive capsule collection featuring red and black hues. This limited-edition range comprises tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, track pants, MX1 jeans, and caps adorned with the brand’s signature silhouettes and motifs, as well as a special Chicago bone logo.
