AMIRI, a luminary in the fashion landscape, announces the grand reopening of its flagship store on the famed Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles. The refurbished, expanded space mirrors the burgeoning trajectory of the brand and serves as a tangible manifestation of AMIRI’s multidimensional ethos.
As the brainchild of Mike Amiri, the brand’s Founder and Creative Director, the revamped store marks a significant evolution. Doubling its size to a sprawling 4,300 square feet, with an added 1,033 square feet dedicated to its broad product spectrum, the retail space elevates the AMIRI experience. It encapsulates the brand’s menswear, womenswear, and children’s lines, plus a vast array of footwear and accessories.
The LA-based brand partnered with Paris’s NOCOD Studio and the US’s Two One Two Design firm to bring Amiri’s vision to life. This international collaboration interlaces diverse design perspectives, reflecting the brand’s global appeal while staying true to its LA roots.
Stepping into the AMIRI Rodeo store is akin to immersing oneself in AMIRI’s multifaceted universe. The store, more than just a retail outlet, morphs into an art gallery, resounding with the vibrant contemporary art pulse of California. This unique space, nestled near AMIRI’s downtown studio, is designed to spotlight artworks curated personally by Mike Amiri, fostering a dynamic dialog between the brand and its art-loving patrons.
Featuring an ever-rotating array of art pieces, the store will also house two permanent installations: “A Brand New World #1” by long-time collaborator and LA artist Wes Lang, and “Instrument Frame Drag” by self-taught Californian artist Jason Revok. The artworks echo AMIRI’s modern approach to artisan craft, tying the brand’s essence and the local art scene together.
Situated on LA’s iconic Rodeo Drive, the AMIRI store resonates with the quintessential charm of California, paying homage to its surroundings. Local materials and finishes accentuate the space, conjuring a serene palette reminiscent of California’s characteristic hues. High ceilings, sun-dappled skylights, and pristine plaster walls envelop the boutique, mimicking the openness and warmth of LA’s cityscape. The store’s façade, a textured travertine plaster crafted by local artisans, and interiors festooned with locally sourced furnishings add a touch of the vibrant LA design community.
Mike Amiri expressed immense pride in the Rodeo renovation, stating that the store’s innovative open floor gallery concept embodies AMIRI’s core values of craftsmanship and modernity. It unifies the brand’s commercial pursuits with creativity and community spirit, rendering an identity unique to AMIRI.
The AMIRI Rodeo store will house the brand’s full collection, plus an exclusive limited-edition capsule collection. It stands as a testament to the AMIRI universe, a fashion destination that melds art, community, and the distinct California spirit.
