The rumors were true! After much anticipation, Amazon Prime Video and Warner Bros. Discovery have finally announced the launch of the highly-awaited Warner Pass in France.
The big news was officially confirmed on March 16th, 2023, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
With this new venture, Amazon Prime Video subscribers in France will have access to some of the best series and movies from around the world, all thanks to a deal signed with Warner Bros. Discovery, the company that owns HBO. The Warner Pass will be available as an additional paid option for Amazon Prime Video subscribers and will cost €9.99 per month.
Brigitte Ricou-Bellan, Prime Video French Country Director, stated, “The launch of Warner Pass exclusively as a Prime Video channel in France is the next step in our journey to become the destination for customers in France to find the best in storytelling, premium entertainment and sports.“

Discovery France, Benelux and Africa, added, “The launch of the Warner Pass is a very important event for the French audience who will finally have access through one single subscription, at €9.99 ($10.7), to HBO and to the best offer of entertainment and sports content.“
So, what exactly does the Warner Pass offer? The catalog will launch in two stages, starting on March 16th with access to content from HBO, Warner TV, Toonami and Adult Swim channels. From April 3rd, subscribers will have access to even more content from other channels such as Eurosport, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CNN, TCM Cinéma and Discovery channels. With such a long list of productions, including the likes of Game of Thrones, The White Lotus, The Last of Us, Big Little Lies, and Euphoria, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
It’s worth mentioning that the Warner Pass will be exclusively available on Amazon Prime Video Channels in France, and subscribers will have the opportunity to take advantage of a 30-day free trial until April 3rd.
