The powerful New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Zion Williamson is known for his impressive slams and court dominance. But what many people don’t know is that Zion is also a huge fan of Japanese animation. His love for anime has led to an official partnership between the epic franchise and his Jordan footwear line.
The collaboration between Jordan and anime has already produced impressive results, with Zion’s first signature shoe and his PE-style Jordan Air 200 already under the collaboration umbrella. Now, it’s time for Zion’s flagship signature model, the Air Jordan 37, to take the spotlight.
The Naruto x Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 37 “Rasengan” has just been revealed and it’s already causing a buzz among fans. The shoe features a rich blue monochromatic upper and a bright yellow tongue that mimics Naruto’s hair. Claw marks embroidered on the ankle pads add to the design, and the Atomic Green tongues feature metallic silver plating reminiscent of forehead protectors.
Naruto‘s catchphrase “だってばよ!” appears on both tongues, with the right translated into English. The Rasengan chakra orb is placed on the insoles, adding the final touch to this impressive collaboration.
