After the Jordan Luka 1 and the Jordan Legacy 312, Jordan Brand continues to unveil its slew of sneakers dedicated to the 2023 Lunar New Year celebrations of which this Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Rabbit” is one of the latest to join the extensive collection.
Limited to just 5,000 pairs worldwide, with each pair individually numbered on the inner tongues, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Rabbit” is dressed in a mixed textile construction of suede and leather in a mix of brown, cream, light grey and white tones.
In a nod to the rabbit, the fourth sign of the Chinese zodiac whose year begins on January 22, 2023, its designers chose a terry cloth lining and white laces in the same material to evoke the animal’s fur while a rabbit’s head is printed on the tongue label on the inside.
Red insoles sewn with a label featuring the famous Jumpman embroidered on it framed by a Chinese pattern rectangle and brown semi-translucent outsoles complete the silhouette’s design.
