The series of sneakers dedicated to the celebrations of the new year of the Water Rabbit of Jordan Brand continues with this Air Jordan 1 Elevate “Year of the Rabbit” which, like the Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Rabbit”, will be limited to only 5,000 copies worldwide.
On this new proposal, we immediately notice the dominance of a jade green hue that takes position on the mudguard, lace reinforcements, side overlays as well as on the outsoles. The side swooshes, in a brown hue, and the heel overlays are treated with a suede texture while the heel reinforcement is in an orange terry cloth, presumably to evoke rabbit fur.
Inside the shoes, the lining is also in a very cozy terry cloth, also making a nod to the animal’s fur, which a rabbit head, like the Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Rabbit”, is printed on the tongue label, on the inner side, accompanied by the limited edition number.
Red insoles sewn with a label featuring the famous Jumpman embroidered on it framed by a Chinese pattern rectangle, and exaggerated midsoles complete the shoe’s design.
