adidas and RIMOWA celebrate the spirit of mobility with an exclusive capsule collection developed and designed entirely in Germany.
Inspired by the outdoor, the collection features two designs that encapsulate the spirit and DNA of each brand – each world-renowned in their respective fields: adidas for its sports and lifestyle apparel and products and RIMOWA for its premium luggage lines – the first-ever RIMOWA aluminum backpack and the ADIDAS NMD_S1 sneaker.
Made from RIMOWA’s signature grooved aluminum, the RIMOWA x ADIDAS NMD_BACKPACK is equipped with many functional details such as a grab handle and padded utility straps equipped with a carabin and thumb loops or robe weight-bearing straps.
ADIDAS Boost-inspired foam ridges cover the backpack’s grooved surface for comfort, and an elasticated webbing runs through its middle to secure the backpack onto the suitcase’s telescopic tubes. For flat storage, a detachable gusset reveals two deep zippered pockets and a 16-inch laptop sleeve emblazoned with both brands’ logos.
As for the RIMOWA x ADIDAS NMD_S1 sneaker, the shoes features a titanium-inspired brown Primeknit upper mounted on a soft ADIDAS Boost midsole in an almost translucent light colorway. On the midsole of the shoe, we see the coordinates of the brands’ respective headquarters in Germany, as well as a “Made in Germany” imprint that signifies the partnership. NMD shoelaces in a shade of orange complete the design.

The RIMOWA x ADIDAS NMD_S1 in titanium will be available, at €250, starting November 17 at adidas Confirmed and adidas.com, as well as in select RIMOWA stores and on RIMOWA.com. The RIMOWA x ADIDAS NMD_ BACKPACK in titanium (€1500) is available in limited quantities at €1500 at RIMOWA and adidas flagship stores worldwide and on RIMOWA.com and adidas.com.
