adidas is at it again with a new collaboration that has sneakerheads and Marvel fans alike buzzing with anticipation. The latest offering, inspired by the blockbuster success of the video game Spider-Man 2, is a stunning testament to the synergistic power of footwear and superhero fandom.
Fresh from their previous partnership, adidas and Marvel have created an Ultra 4D Mid sneaker that takes direct inspiration from the Miles Morales “Evolved” suit. Fans of the video game will recognize the suit unlocked in the “Finally Free” mission, and now they can lace up a pair of these limited edition kicks, with only 10,035 pairs available, a nod to Morales’ Harlem roots.

The new design features a 3D-printed sole in a vibrant lightning blue that flows seamlessly into the lightning bolt motifs that adorn the red mudguard. It’s not just a visual treat; the color scheme is meticulously matched to Morales’ in-game attire, right down to the character wearing these exact sneakers during gameplay. The innovative white knit upper with its intricate cobweb pattern is not only stylish, but also eco-friendly, with more than half of the material being recycled.
adidas doesn’t stop at the physical realm. With the release of the sneaker, a digital collectible version will be unlockable in the Spider-Man 2 game by completing the main storyline, bridging the gap between virtual heroics and street fashion.
This capsule follows the successful release of the Spider-Man-themed Ultra 4D, Ultraboost J and Adizero 12.0 football cleats, each designed to capture the essence of the Spider-Man universe. The sneakers will be accompanied by apparel to give fans a complete head-to-toe superhero ensemble.
